How to Enrol

Step 1.

We recommend attending either:

  • An Information Evening
  • An Open Day and Fair
  • A School Tour (scroll down to book a date)

Attending a tour or information session helps you to make an informed choice and familiarise yourself with the philosophy and aims of Steiner education.

Step 2.

Submit an Application for Admission Form with the Application Fee. Click here to download. 

Step 3.

Where there is no space available, or your child is too young to commence, your child will be placed on a waiting list for that year group.

Where there is a space available in the class, the Registrar will arrange for an admission interview with your child’s teacher.

Step 4. 

Once the school offers a place, parents need to submit all the enrolment documentation and pay a $550 bond per child to secure the place. Parents will also meet with the Business Manager regarding the financial aspect of the enrolment.

  • Tours leave from the front office at 9:15am to view the Preschool (Playgroup to Prep), Primary and Secondary. Tours usually last for about an hour and a half.

Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of $100 per child is payable on submission of an Application for Admission Form.

Bond: An enrolment bond of $550 per student is payable for entry from Ring-a-Rosy to Class 12.

Annual Fees: The Annual Fee covers all Fixed charges, Tuition, Camps, Excursions, and Class 3 to 8 Music Lessons.

Discounts (% discount on Prep – 12 Annual Fee): First Child – Nil, Second Child – 10%, Third Child 30%, Fourth Child 50%, Fifth Child 70%, Staff Discount 5%.

Additional Charges: Classes 6-12 Booklists have additional equipment requirements. Extra music lessons prior to Class 8 and any music lesson after Class 8 are $325 per term for a 30-minute lesson. Little Yarra Ensemble and Extra Curriculum Bands are charged at $85 per term

Invoices are issued before the start of each term and are payable within 14 days.

Payments can be made: Annually in advance (5% discount),Termly in advance (3% ‘pay-on-time’ discount), or by regular installments.

Indexation: Fees are subject to change and are expected to increase with the Education Price Index annually.

Withdrawal: A full term’s written notice, or payment of a term’s fees in lieu, is required if a student is withdrawn from the school.
